This recipe is perfect for busy mornings when you want something crispy, savoury, and filling without spending too much time in the kitchen.

The combination of crunchy toasted bread and soft, flavourful sooji topping makes this dish loved by both kids and adults. It can be prepared in just 10–15 minutes, making it an ideal option for breakfast, evening snacks, or lunchbox recipes.

What is Sooji Toast?

Sooji Toast is a simple Indian-style open toast where a mixture of sooji, curd, vegetables, and spices is spread on bread slices and then toasted on a pan until golden and crispy. The sooji topping becomes slightly soft inside while the bread turns perfectly crisp.

This recipe is similar to instant uttapam on bread, giving you a flavourful and wholesome snack without much preparation.

Sooji / Rava toast is a perfect snack item to serve in the morning as breakfast or as an tea-time snack. We need semolina, curd, and few vegetables like onion, bell pepper, green chillies. We can also add tomatoes, but I personally donot like to add it in the batter. Mix all the ingredients together except bread. Spread the batter on one side of the bread and toast it until done.  Sooji / Rava toast is a very tasty and easy to make dish and it will get over in no time.
