Cheese Burst Pizza, offered by Dominos, is highly popular due to its indulgent, cheese-filled crust. Here’s my story about discovering and eventually making this delicious pizza. I first heard about Cheese Burst Pizza from my younger brother. His enthusiastic description of the oodles of cheese inside the pizza made my mouth water, and I was eager to try it.

Determined to taste it, I decided to learn how to make Cheese Burst Pizza at home. After some practice, I perfected the recipe and started making it whenever I had a craving. One day, I made it for lunch, and to my delight, my husband finally tried it. He enjoyed it so much that he became a fan of the pizza too! Now, it’s a favourite in our household.

How is Cheese Burst Pizza Made?

  • Dough Preparation: The dough is rolled out to a thin layer, with another layer of dough placed on top.

Ingredients
  

Dough

  • Cup All purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2+1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil - 1 tbsp
  • 1/2 Cup Water - 1/2 cup
  • 1/2+1/8 tsp Dry yeast or
  • 1+1/4 tsp Wet yeast

Pizza Sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 no Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1/2 pkt Tomato Puree
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder

Toppings

  • Mozarella cheese
  • Green Bell pepper
  • Red Bell pepper
  • Yellow Bell pepper
  • Corn
  • Baby corn
  • Paneer
  • Olives
  • Jalepeno

Instructions
 

Dough

  • Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, oil, salt, and milk.
  • Activate Yeast: In warm water, dissolve yeast and sugar thoroughly.
  • Knead Dough: Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too wet, sprinkle in some additional flour.
  • First Rise: Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size. When you punch the dough, you should feel the air release.

Pizza Sauce

  • Sauté Garlic: Heat oil in a pan over low flame, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add Ingredients: Add onion, herbs, chili flakes, tomato puree, salt, and sugar. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Cool: Turn off the stove and let the sauce cool.

Assembling the Pizza

  • Prepare Dough: Divide the dough into two equal portions. Dust the working surface and roll out both portions to 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Cheese Layer: Spread plain or flavoured cheese spread over one dough base, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Place the second dough base on top and seal the edges well.
  • Add Toppings: Spread pizza sauce over the top layer of dough. Add your choice of vegetables and grate mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake: Grease a baking tray or pizza plate and place the pizza on it. Preheat the oven to 200°C for 3 minutes. Bake at 175°C for 25 to 30 minutes, using the top and bottom heating option in an OTG, and place the pizza on the top rack.
  • Your pizza is now ready to serve!
