Dough
- 1½ Cup All purpose Flour
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2+1/8 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Oil - 1 tbsp
- 1/2 Cup Water - 1/2 cup
- 1/2+1/8 tsp Dry yeast or
- 1+1/4 tsp Wet yeast
Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 no Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
- 1 tsp Mixed Herbs
- 1/2 pkt Tomato Puree
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Chilli Powder
Toppings
- Mozarella cheese
- Green Bell pepper
- Red Bell pepper
- Yellow Bell pepper
- Corn
- Baby corn
- Paneer
- Olives
- Jalepeno
Dough
Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, oil, salt, and milk.
Activate Yeast: In warm water, dissolve yeast and sugar thoroughly.
Knead Dough: Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is too wet, sprinkle in some additional flour.
First Rise: Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size. When you punch the dough, you should feel the air release.
Pizza Sauce
Sauté Garlic: Heat oil in a pan over low flame, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
Add Ingredients: Add onion, herbs, chili flakes, tomato puree, salt, and sugar. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Cool: Turn off the stove and let the sauce cool.
Assembling the Pizza
Prepare Dough: Divide the dough into two equal portions. Dust the working surface and roll out both portions to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cheese Layer: Spread plain or flavoured cheese spread over one dough base, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges. Place the second dough base on top and seal the edges well.
Add Toppings: Spread pizza sauce over the top layer of dough. Add your choice of vegetables and grate mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Bake: Grease a baking tray or pizza plate and place the pizza on it. Preheat the oven to 200°C for 3 minutes. Bake at 175°C for 25 to 30 minutes, using the top and bottom heating option in an OTG, and place the pizza on the top rack.
Your pizza is now ready to serve!
