Equipment

  • 1 Hand blender

Ingredients
  

  • 125 gm Wheat flour
  • 84 gm Butter
  • 84 gm Icing Sugar
  • 20.5 gm Ghee
  • 20.5 gm Horlicks

Instructions
 

  • Measure all the ingredients required to make the biscuits.
  • In a bowl, add butter and icing sugar.
  • Beat them well until the mixture becomes light, smooth, and creamy.
  • Add wheat flour and Horlicks powder to the creamy mixture.
  • Mix gently using the cut-and-fold method without overmixing.
  • Check the dough:
  • If too creamy/sticky, add 1 teaspoon of wheat flour.
  • If too dry/crumbly, add ½ teaspoon of ghee.
  • Line a baking tray with butter paper.
  • Shape the dough into small balls and arrange them on the tray with some space in between.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C for 3 minutes.
  • Bake the biscuits at 150°C on the top rack for 10 minutes.
  • Then move the tray to the bottom rack and bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden.
  • Allow the biscuits to cool completely.
  • Store them in an airtight container.
