- 125 gm Wheat flour
- 84 gm Butter
- 84 gm Icing Sugar
- 20.5 gm Ghee
- 20.5 gm Horlicks
Measure all the ingredients required to make the biscuits.
In a bowl, add butter and icing sugar.
Beat them well until the mixture becomes light, smooth, and creamy.
Add wheat flour and Horlicks powder to the creamy mixture.
Mix gently using the cut-and-fold method without overmixing.
Check the dough:
If too creamy/sticky, add 1 teaspoon of wheat flour.
If too dry/crumbly, add ½ teaspoon of ghee.
Line a baking tray with butter paper.
Shape the dough into small balls and arrange them on the tray with some space in between.
Preheat the oven to 180°C for 3 minutes.
Bake the biscuits at 150°C on the top rack for 10 minutes.
Then move the tray to the bottom rack and bake for another 5–10 minutes until golden.
Allow the biscuits to cool completely.
Store them in an airtight container.
