To cook<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Turmeric powder &#8211; A pinch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Salt &#8211; To taste<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>Paruppu usili<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Channa dhal \u2013 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Toor dhal \u2013 3 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Red chillies \u2013 3<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Salt -As required<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Asafoetida -A pinch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><em><strong>Beans<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align:left;\">Wash and chop the beans into small pieces. In a pan, add beans, enough water, salt and turmeric.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align:left;\">Cook the beans and strain the excess water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Paruppu usili<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and soak all the ingredients for two hours.<\/li>\n<li>Drain the water and grind it finely.<\/li>\n<li>Steam cook it.<\/li>\n<li>Crumble the usili and keep aside.<\/li>\n<li>Add asafoetida.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Beans\u00a0with paruppu usili<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Now add the steam cooked paruppu usili and saute for two minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Add beans\u00a0and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Beans Paruppu usili is ready to serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Beans paruppu usili is a very popular tamil Brahmin dish.
