It tasted good and I tried this at my home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/27\/gotsu\/dsc00919\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3501\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC00919\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/dsc00919.jpg?w=300&#038;resize=300%2C225\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>INGREDIENTS<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Tamarind &#8211; Lemon size<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Orange skin- few<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Lady&#8217;sfinger &#8211; 1<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Tamato(Small)- 1<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Red chilli powder &#8211; 2 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Turmeric powder -1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Salt &#8211; To taste<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>For Seasoning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Oil &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Channa dhal &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Urad dhal &#8211; 1tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Green chilli &#8211; 1<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/27\/gotsu\/dsc00914-001\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3500\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DSC00914-001\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/dsc00914-001.jpg?w=300&#038;resize=300%2C225\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add some water to the tamarind and allow it to boil. Or pressure cook it.<\/li>\n<li>Extract juice from the tamarind.<\/li>\n<li>Add oil in the pan and splutter mustard seeds. Once they crack, add channa dhal, urad dhal\u00a0and green chilli. Saute them until they turn golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Then add the extracted tamarind juice.<\/li>\n<li>To this add turmeric powder, salt, Red chilli powder and allow it to boil.<\/li>\n<li>then add the orange skin, lady&#8217;s finger, tomato and cook in medium flame until they are cooked well.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with venpongal, molagootal rice or kichadi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gotsu is a side dish that goes well with Venpongal, and molagootal rice.
