For my grany&#8217;s birthday, I want to try something new. Always I am fond of jalebis than jaangiris. So, I was about to make that. But my dad bought a lot of apples. And I said everybody that I am going to make jalebis with apple. Everyone was scared to taste something new. But when I made this, no one was able to resist and there was no left over. It had a similar taste to Kerala&#8217;s pazhampori. Everyone of us had a great time on my grandma&#8217;s birthday. Missed you my dear bro&#8230;.Happy Birthday paati \ud83d\ude42 :)&#8230;. love you paati &lt;3&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/09\/dsc00596.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2863\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/09\/dsc00596.jpg?w=800\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>INGREDIENTS<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Apple &#8211; 1<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">All purpose flour &#8211; 11\/4 cups<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Water &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Sugar &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Yeast &#8211; 1\/2 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Oil &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>For Syrup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Sugar &#8211; 11\/2 cups<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Water &#8211; 1 cup<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Oil &#8211; For deep frying<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Batter<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Peel the skin of the apple and slice it into discs. Remove the center part.<\/li>\n<li>In a small cup mix yeast, sugar and 2 tablespoon warm water. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>In a separate vessel, mix all purpose flour, water, oil and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>To this, add the yeast sugar mixture and blend it well with the flour.<\/li>\n<li>Leave the batter to sit for half an hour to one hour. It ll ferment and the batter will become lacy. Donot over ferment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Sugar syrup<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a pan, add sugar and water. Allow it to boil.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off the stove once it has reached 1\/2 string consistency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\"><strong>Jalebis<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heat the oil in a pan. To check add one drop of the batter.<\/li>\n<li>Now dip the apple discs into the batter and deep fry it in the oil.<\/li>\n<li>gently turn it upside down.<\/li>\n<li>Both the sides should turn golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Now remove the jalebis from the oil and place it on a plate with tissue paper.<\/li>\n<li>Allow it to cool for five minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Then dip the fried jalebis in the sugar syrup and \u00a0place it on a plate.<\/li>\n<li>Serve it hot.<\/li>\n<li>You can garnish it with the nuts.<\/li>\n<li>You can also serve it with hot milk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/09\/dsc00597.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2862\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/09\/dsc00597.jpg?w=800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0Make this on some day and enjoy with your family :)&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apple jalebi is the new version of normal jalebis.
