They\u00a0are indeed very rich in protein and nutritious. The fresh seeds are rich in starch and low in calcium and iron but a good source of both vitamin B1 and vitamin B12. Whenever my dad bring the jackfruit, the fleshy part is my brother&#8217;s favourite and the seeds are my favourite. \u00a0It has a mild sweetness and can be served hot as an evening snack with coffee or tea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/20130607_084711.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2641\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/20130607_084711.jpg?w=800\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>INGREDIENTS<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Jackfruit seeds &#8211; 2 cups<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Water<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Salt &#8211; As required<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Turmeric powder &#8211; A pinch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>For Seasoning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Coconut oil &#8211; 1 tbsp<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Buy a fresh jackfruit and remove the fleshy part of it.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the seeds and allow it to dry in the sun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/20130607_084807.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-2642\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/20130607_084807.jpg?w=800\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now remove the outer covering of the seeds that is white in colour.
