It is a very good medicine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/12\/dsc00864.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2012\/12\/dsc00864.jpg?w=300&#038;resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"DSC00864\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>INGREDIENTS<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Carom (omam)-50gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Cumin seeds(Jeera)-20gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Pepper(Milagu)-5 to 10 gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Clove(Kirambu)-5gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Elaichi(Elakkai)-5gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Long pepper(kandathipilli)- 5gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Ginger(Inji)- 25gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Jaggery(Vellam)-200gm<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Ghee(Nei)- 1tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Honey(Thaen)- 1tbsp<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dry roast the spices and powder it.<\/li>\n<li>Extract the juice out of ginger.<\/li>\n<li>Mix the juice with jaggery and make thick syrup(paagu) with one string consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Add spices powder, ghee, honey to the jaggery syrup.<\/li>\n<li>After a minute, take it off and make it to cool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Easy method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Readymade diwali legiyam powder is available in the shops.\u00a0\u00a0Instead of dry roasting and grinding the spice powder you can use this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The humble lehiyam is an age-old cure for Diwali excesses.
