300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<h4>Method<\/h4>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>In a heavy bottomed vessel or kadai, add gingelley oil and splutter mustard seeds.<\/li>\r\n<li>Once they crack, add urad dhal, channa dhal, red chillies, green chilli, curry leaves.<\/li>\r\n<li>Saute until they turn golden brown in colour.<\/li>\r\n<li>Then add the peeled our shallots, saute until they are transparent.<\/li>\r\n<li>Once the shallots look transparent, add the extracted tamarind juice.<\/li>\r\n<li>Add turmeric powder, salt, sambar powder or rasam powder and allow it to boil.<\/li>\r\n<li>Cook until the raw smell goes off.<\/li>\r\n<li>Chinna Vengaya Vathakuzhambu is ready.<\/li>\r\n<li>Serve it with hot rice, papad and Potato curry.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a
