But a very good method is to prick the potatoes to absorb the flavour.<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Baby potatoes &#8211; 1\/2 kg<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Salt &#8211; As required<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Turmeric powder &#8211; A pinch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Coconut oil &#8211; 4 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Cilantro &#8211; few chopped<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Water<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>For masala<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Channa dhal &#8211; 2 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Coriander seeds &#8211; 4 tbsp<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Red chillies &#8211; As required<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/img_3396-001.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-1134\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"http:\/\/superduperkitchen.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/01\/img_3396-001.jpg?w=800\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash the baby potatoes and cut into half.<\/li>\n<li>In a pan add enough water and cook the potatoes.<\/li>\n<li>After ten minutes, add salt and turmeric powder.<\/li>\n<li>Once the potatoes become soft, drain the remaining water.<\/li>\n<li>Grind the ingredients given under masala.<\/li>\n<li>Now add coconut oil, masala powder, asafoetida.<\/li>\n<li>Fry till golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Garnish with cilantro.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Baby potatoes are potatoes that are taken from the soil before they are fully grown.
